Embody your next level of success

One of my private coaching clients reached a milestone in her career this week.

She has always been a top performer, in high-demand and respected for her expertise.

Now she’s reached a new level – a bigger stage if you will.

She’s where she always dreamt she’d be one day.

She feels proud, successful and thankful.

AND – she has another voice in her head telling her she’s still not doing enough.

That voice – that inner critical voice that I call Ursula – is her primitive brain trying to take over and keep her safe and playing small.

It’s one of the five lies imposter syndrome tells us: “You’re not doing enough.”

If you believe it, you’re in a no-win situation. The more you do, the more it says you need to do and you end up feeling burned out and angry that you can never get to where you think you “should” be.

But thinking you should be anywhere other than where you are today feels terrible.
It feels like yearning and disappointment.

Sure you can continue to beat yourself up and spin in a lot of mind drama.
But why would you choose that?

You don’t have to believe Ursula when she says you should be anywhere other than where you are right now.

You can believe getting “there” is inevitable.
You can believe you get to enjoy this journey.
You can believe confidence is available right now.

Because it is.

Our thoughts are optional. Yes, you read that correctly.

You get to choose what to think.

Ask yourself:

What am I choosing to believe that I can release?

What do I want to believe instead?

What next-right-step decision can I make today from that place?

That’s how you get from here to there.

Because “there” is inevitable when you aren’t beating yourself up for not already being there.

Just like my client.

She’s choosing to listen to her inner wise self instead of Ursula.

She’s choosing to embody the person she’s become in the process of all her achievements.

She’s choosing to own her talents and expertise.

She’s choosing to stand in her brilliance.

You can, too.

P.S. What’s your next-right-step decision that can get you a little closer to where you want to be? Hit “reply” and let me know. AND if you’re ready to step into who you really are and own it, let’s hop on a Discovery Call and talk about how my private coaching can put you on the fast track to success.

P.P.S. Are you following me on YouTube yet? I’ve got a library of videos I know you’re going to love.
