I refuse to do this!

I watched this video this week and I felt compelled to share it with you.

This is not a political statement. It is a statement on the reality of being a successful and accomplished professional woman. 

I applaud Dr. Jill Biden and every woman who has achieved this amazing feat through hard work and dedication. 

Pay close attention toward the end where the reporter Alicia Menendez speaks about what’s just under the surface.

Refuse to make yourself smaller for the comfort of others.

Refuse to believe that you are not good enough because you are female.

Refuse to put your goals and dreams to the side to appease other people – no matter who they are.

You can take pride in your accomplishments and speak that out loud.

You can create the career and life you crave.

You’re a BFD.

You don’t have to prove that. 

You get to step into that and believe it.

I believe in you.
