Unwind Your Stress Cycles

If you’re like the women leaders I coach, you’re a busy woman. You take care of so many things – work, family, friends. Maybe you are taking care of parents who are aging or you serve on a board or have other volunteer responsibilities.

How many plates do you have spinning? Have you noticed a couple have slipped?

Let’s talk about stress. You’ve got a lot of it in your life.

Stress is now related to 80-90% of every chronic illness. If you’re in a constant state of stress, that negatively impacts you and those around you. Plus – your ability to cope diminishes over time.

Where is your stress level?

If you are under prolonged stress and you’ve gotten used to it as a way of life, the body’s ability to cope is diminishing. If you notice, you’re irritable, you don’t have the brain capacity you used to, you’re foggy-headed, you’re snapping at your kids…That’s your body showing you, your diminished ability to cope with stress.

It’s a wake-up call. Some of us need a tap on the shoulder. Others of us need a brick to the head. You know what my brick was? I had breast cancer. That was my wake-up moment. Don’t let that be yours.

Can you keep going at that pace?

Eventually the body depletes itself. It can’t keep performing at the same go-go-go pace. I know you want to have the energy to reach that next level, but you can’t do it if you’re on the brink of exhaustion.

What stands in your way to get to that next level of success?

Mindset and physical stamina, which includes where you’re at with the stress in your life. Unwinding the patterns of busyness takes a few days and this process of unwinding is crucial.  Women who attended The Exhale Retreat last year asked for more time away because it took a couple of days to unplug and unwind from their day-to-day frenzy.

Want to experience what that feels like to truly get to that point of exhale? It doesn’t happen when you go away for just one night. It doesn’t happen on a family vacation because you’re always on. Whether you’re at home or at work, you’re always on. You are always on the go and thinking ahead. You’re never allowing your body time to relax and exhale.

What happens when you get to that place that you can truly breathe without anyone needing anything from you.

I’m offering you an opportunity to come and take care of you – your mind, your body and your spirit.

Take time away. Start to unwind these patterns so you can actually stop and hear what your next steps are.

You’ll be immersed in luxury and surrounded by old world style when you join me at The Exhale Retreat. Everything you need will be tended to – gourmet meals, spa treatments, gifts, decadent chocolates and a life-changing experience that will stay with you for months to follow.

Isn’t it time you gave yourself permission to relax, refresh and renew? Imagine what you could do with a little time away? How much bigger could your impact be if you took the time away you know in your heart of hearts you so desperately need?

Got questions? Let’s hop on a call – I’m happy to chat about this to see if it’s a good fit for you.
